How does a business accept payments through Stripe in Schedule Me?
An eligible Pro or Business account connects its own Stripe account, completes Stripe onboarding, chooses deposit or full-payment rules for its services, reviews its customer policy, and intentionally enables payment collection.
Does the business manage service prices in Stripe?
No. The business manages service names, prices, add-ons, and appointment details in Schedule Me. Stripe provides the secure checkout and payment processing for the amount Schedule Me sends to checkout.
Can a business collect a deposit instead of the full service price?
Yes. A configured service can require a fixed or percentage deposit, require full payment, or collect no online payment. The business reviews its settings before customer collection is enabled.
How much does Schedule Me charge for a customer payment?
Schedule Me charges a 1% platform fee capped at $2.00 per payment. Stripe processing fees are charged separately to the business, and the applicable amounts are shown in the payment setup area.
How does the customer complete a payment?
The customer opens one secure Stripe-hosted checkout from an emailed payment request, a shared payment link, or a QR code. Schedule Me updates the connected appointment or Payment Activity after Stripe reports the payment status.
